How To Volunteer To Bring Meetings To State Or Federal Prisons

  • Previous Experience - previous experience with H&I is required before being allowed into prisons.
  • Clearance Procedures - you must be cleared by each prison before being allowed in.

  • If you are interested in volunteering for the program to provide vitally needed sponsorship to alcoholics confined State Prisons in Northern CA, please read the document below and click on the Get Started button to contact us. In addition to your contact info, please include your sobriety date, your length of sponsorship experience and your length of service in H&I. NOTE: we are gradually rolling out the service to one prison at a time. To find out if the service is available in a State Prison near you, please click on the contact for the “IVSS (Sponsorship) Service Chair” in the drop-down box.
